Seeking a quality assurance specialist that is a conscientious individual to provide agency training, conduct audits, observations and interviews of the service provisions and provide feedback based on findings to assist departments in developing and implementing improvements.  The Quality Assurance Specialist is also responsible for conducting investigations per Justice Center and OPWDD regulations. Candidates are expected to maintain investigation reports and keep up-to-date on 624 regulations with the afore mentioned agencies. Must maintain a status as a trainer in CPR/FA and SCIP as needed.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and experience working with individuals with disabilities. Demonstrated public speaking and teaching ability. Excellent computer literacy in order to maintain logs and communicate via email. Must be able to be objective, analyze data, and maintain confidentiality and integrity, while applying sound judgment on a daily basis.  A valid NYS driver’s license, proof of insurance and reliable vehicle is required.
