Vocational Rehabilitation

The Vocational Rehabilitation Services Department at JM Murray assists individuals in developing long-term vocational goals to align with their unique skills, strengths and interests. We put people first. Therefore, our vocational rehabilitation services encourage the individuals we serve to focus on the things that they can do, rather than the skills that limit their vocational performance.

EVALUATION & ASSESSMENT

Short evaluation assessments (two to five days in length) are performed by the Vocational Rehabilitation Department. These assessments include obtaining information about the person’s vocational interests, aptitudes, abilities and learning style. We use the results of these assessments for transitional planning, establishing vocational goals and planning the future direction of their services and foundation for success.

PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES

JM Murray has an extensive list of employers that we partner with to provide work opportunities for the individuals we serve. As a community employer we also offer the opportunity for employment and training within our facility.
