Empathy is an important concept to understand. We all experience it, but in different degrees. This course is about understanding what empathy is, and things we can do to increase our empathetic response. When we do this, we grow as individuals as well as support providers.
There are several benefits from learning to be more empathetic. We connect with people better, and open ourselves up for relationship building. Everything we do to support individuals is built around the framework of relationships.
