Direct Support Professional #2013, 2014, 2021, 2029

Successful candidates will provide direct services to consumers through the implementation of service and support plans, and other means as established by the planning team; addressing habilitation, therapeutic, and behavioral needs. Will perform necessary direct support duties to ensure consumer safety, health, hygiene, and development. Other duties include, but not limited to, support with dining, personal care, assistance entering and exiting buses/company vehicles, driving consumers to activities, and documentation.

Position is first shift Monday through Friday: No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays and No On-Call hours. 2 weeks paid vacation, sick time, 7 paid holidays, 401K

Requirements: HS diploma or equivalent; strong communication skills; sound decision-making & judgment; valid NYS driver’s license & reliable, insured vehicle. Clearance required through the NYS Justice Center (OPWDD/OMH criminal background check), Office of People with Developmental Disabilities, and NYS Department of Motor Vehicles.
