JM Murray is a not-for-profit dedicated to creating meaningful employment and support opportunities for people with disabilities.
Unlike many NFPs, we’ve been largely self-sustaining through our business and manufacturing efforts—but the landscape is changing. Public funding is uncertain, and rising costs are outpacing reimbursement rates.
In response, we launched the JM Murray Foundation in 2021 to strengthen our mission—and your participation in this tournament helps make that possible.
This Year’s Impact
Funds raised in 2025 will go toward the purchase of a new film conversion bag machine. This equipment is vital to our manufacturing operations, enabling us to produce high-quality waste can liners sold across New York State through our partnership with the New York State Industries for the Disabled (NYSID). It’s more than machinery—it’s a direct investment in the employment of people with disabilities.
